These flourless German chocolate bars are decadent and healthier than its brownie counterparts. Just 12 minutes in the oven and a little preparation and you'll have these bars ready to share! It's made with wholesome ingredients, like oats and bananas!
Traditional chocolate bars have so much sugar! There's definitely a time and place for traditional brownies, but if you're anything like me, I crave chocolate daily. I had to create a healthier fix for that!

How to Make It
In a bowl, mash together bananas and coconut sugar into a paste.
Here's a pro tip for you: Extra ripe bananas go a long way in this recipe. The riper the bananas the sweeter it will be.
Add in the eggs, vanilla, and maple syrup, and whisk till slightly pale.
In a food processor, grind together oats, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder.
Work until the oats are very small pieces.
Next add the dry ingredients into the bowl with banana mixture . Stir to evenly combine. Then mix in most of the coconut flakes an chopped pecans.
You're almost there! Now prepare a 9 x 13 pan lined with parchment paper.
Don't forget to spray with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Next pour the batter into the pan and spread evenly.
Top the batter with the rest of coconut flakes and chopped pecans.
Bake for 12 minutes at 350F, use a toothpick to check if cooked. If it comes out clean it's done!

- 3 Eggs
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ cup maple syrup
Instructions
