Chocolate Hummus Recipe
This 5 ingredient chocolate hummus is so easy and makes for a great healthy dip
Servings 4 servings
- 1 can Garbanzo or Black Beans rinsed and drained
- 1 tbs Vanilla
- 3 tbs Maple Syrup or Honey add more if desired
- 3 tbs Cocoa
- 3 tbs Vanilla Greek Yogurt
- Optional Garnish: fruit chocolate chips or shavings, chocolate syrup, nuts
Start by combining the beans, vanilla and maple syrup in a food processor and blend for 2 minutes.
Add the cocoa and Greek yogurt and puree until completely smooth. Scraping down the sides and blending will help ensure an even, smooth texture.
Chill until cold and garnish if desired. Serve chilled alongside tasty snacks like cookies, fruit, pretzels, celery or carrots.
Can be refrigerated for up to 4 days
