We love pizza around here and my kids ask for it a lot! I wanted to change it up a bit by making these easy pizza muffins. This also is a perfect answer with what to do with marinara sauce besides pasta.
This muffin recipe has the flavor of pizza, but with added veggies. It makes for an easy no mess meal too.

How to make Easy Savory Muffins
First preheat oven to 375 F and grease a cupcake tin, then aside. Prepare your ingredients.
Now you'll want to combine ingredients. Start by combining flour, salt, baking powder and Italian seasoning. Set aside
In a separate mixing bowl whisk the egg, marinara and milk together.
Stir the wet mixture into the mixing bowl of flour until just combined.
Next chop and slice tomatoes and broccoli. Then stir in the cheeses, broccoli and tomatoes. Making sure not to over mix the batter.
Evenly distribute among cupcake liners, top with a sprinkle of cheese and bake for 20-22 minutes. Serve warm or cooled with marinara
Cook's Tips:
- Don't overmix batter. Over mixing batter will create very dense muffins, please avoid it!
- Grate your vegetables for those picky eaters
